About Me
Azure Solution Architect Expert and former Microsoft MVP (7 years) with 12+ years architecting, delivering and operating enterprise cloud platforms — including 6+ years embedded at UCB, where I govern a large multi-domain Azure estate of ~130 subscriptions in a regulated (GxP) life-sciences environment. I translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud designs and lead them end to end, from architecture and delivery through governance and operations. My focus is the technology backbone of advanced analytics and AI: data & AI platform services (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure AI Foundry / OpenAI), platform lifecycle, governance and team enablement — bringing data scientists and business teams a reliable foundation to consume data and AI at scale.
Work Experience
- Govern and operate a large enterprise Azure estate of ~130 subscriptions — access management, configuration, technical standards and cost control across multiple business domains.
- Ensure GxP qualification of cloud platforms, maintaining architecture and operations to compliance standards in a regulated life-sciences environment.
- Translate business requirements into Azure architecture designs (incl. hub-and-spoke landing zones) and lead their delivery for enterprise application hosting.
- Deploy and configure data & AI platform services: Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (build and operate data pipelines), and Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI.
- Design and operate secure Azure network connectivity using Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN and Azure Route Server.
- Provide advanced L4/L5 troubleshooting and operational support across the Azure landscape.
